Funeral services for Linda S. Barker, 50, of Hallsville will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2007 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Joe Hancock and Buck Lineberger officiating. Burial will be in Hallsville Cemetery. She passed away Saturday, March 31, in a Longview hospital.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Linda was born April 11, 1956 in Marshall and was a lifetime resident of Hallsville. She was a graduate of Hallsville High School and the Kilgore College School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse and formerly employed at the Marshall Regional Medical Center, Longview Regional Medical Center and the Good Shepherd Medical Center. Linda was a member of the Hallsville Church of Christ.
Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, William and Vernell Barker; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Rebecca Barker, Kenneth and Sherrie Barker, Kevin Barker and Billy and Devin Barker all of Hallsville; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and a host of special friends; and her beloved pet ?Biscuit?.
