Linda Kay Crabtree Sneed Higginbotham
Funeral services for Linda Kay Crabtree Sneed Higginbotham will be held at 4 PM Tuesday, April 15, 2003 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with the Reverends Curtis Hall and Thomas Hogland officiating. Burial will be in Memory Park Cemetery. She died Saturday in a Longview hospital following a sudden illness. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Higginbotham was born July 21, 1953 in Kermit, Texas to George and Wilma Crabtree, and had been a resident of Longview for the past 25 years, moving from Odessa, Texas. She was a Junior High secretary for the Hallsville Independent School District. She and her husband were very active members of the Hallsville Bobcat Band Booster Club. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Mrs. Higginbotham was preceded in death by her father, George Crabtree, and her uncle Claude Crabtree.
She is survived by her loving husband, Barry G. Higginbotham of Longview; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard Danny and Sunni Sneed of Kilgore, Kerry Joseph ?K.J.? Higginbotham and Joshua Robert McCaleb both of Longview; daughter, Brittany Ann Higginbotham of Longview; mother Wilma Woody Crabtree of Longview; brother and sister-in-law, Stanley and Janet Crabtree of Longview; granddaughter, Tori Sneed and grandson, Trent Sneed both of Hallsville; 1 niece and 1 nephew and aunts and uncles, other extended family to include the Bobcat Band Kids, both past and present.
