Longview- Linda Eaves was received peacefully by her Lord on August 23, 2023, surrounded by family. She was 77 years old and fought a very tough 15 day battle with cancer. She handled the difficult process with her faith in Jesus, Read Obituary
Johnny and family, you are in my heart and prayers in your loss of Linda. Working at FUMC while she was working in the District Office was such fun. She was always sweet and thoughtful about others. Take comfort in your shared stories of her.
For all who held themselves as part of Linda’s family, we send our deepest sympathies for your sorrow. We are not ever able to say the word “loss” when thinking about Linda. Knowing her only briefly through our son-in-law Brian and our daughter Heather was more than enough for us to know Linda carried her faith forward into a world full of harshness and cruelty. To know Linda was to gain so greatly from just seeing Gods love in action. May every memory you have of her be filled with the love she sought to show during life. And watch out for those Elk and bear eager to wish this wonderful woman godspeed. On to her heaven to rest finally in the arms of pure love. Thank you for sharing her with us. I met Linda at line dancing class!! We danced together in an exhibition group and entertained at nursing homes, parties and at festivals. Linda and I became great friends. She was a lot of fun and was always doing for others. I am going to miss her!! I know there is rejoicing in heaven!!!🌹🌷
Linda was my very first boss when I worked at the District Office in high school. She was a kind and very PATIENT lady and mentored a very green and experienced high school student. I still use the things she taught me to this day.I would see her from time to time and she always remembered me.
