Linda Beth Campbell's Obituary
Linda Beth Campbell, 72-years-old, died on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at her home in Kalispell, MT. Beth valiantly and gracefully lived with diabetes and the many side effects of this disease for more than forty four years. Her strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, and the love and prayers of family, friends, and many supporters carried her through years of neuropathy, blindness and eventually an amputation.
Beth was born on July 14, 1941 in Longview, Texas to Paul and Sudia Featherstone. She graduated from Kilgore High School and went on to be a member of the Kilgore Rangerette’s at Kilgore College. Beth was a Texan through and through, but God drew her to Montana and enraptured her with His majesty and splendor. She lived in the midst of God’s earthly beauty in the Flathead Valley for fifteen years.
Beth had a comforting smile and always made time to listen as others found it easy to share their life struggles with her. Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and genuine demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many. Lives have been, and are still being changed by her witness of strength, courage, love and faith.
Beth was married for 44 years to her sweetheart, Bob Campbell of Longview, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Honey and Bubba, her beloved daughter Susan, her son, Sergeant Robert R. Campbell, her in-laws Bob and Jean Campbell and her brother-in-law, Captain Clyde W. Campbell. She is survived by her husband, Bob, her daughter Sheri Peery and her husband Bill, her daughter Darlina Bennett and her husband Larry, her grandchildren, Trey Peery and his wife Katie, Ryan Campbell, Bobbi Bruton, Christian Pena, Sheridan Pena and her nieces Deanna Lisle and her husband Keith and Jennifer Romero and her husband Paul, and grand nieces and nephews, Clyde, Sara, Tucker, Melvin, Duval and Daisy.
The family would like to thank the many friends who have offered assistance, meals and sent prayers and well wishes, we would also like to thank Frontier Hospice for their kind and gentle care over the last four months.
Visitation will be held at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 22nd from 4 pm to 7 pm and a Memorial Service led by Pastor Fronk Mack at Family Life Christian Church, 1075 Foys Lake Rd, Kalispell MT will be held on Thursday, January 23rd at 2:00 pm.
