Linda Ann Butler's Obituary
Linda Ann (nee Hebert) Butler passed away on November 9, 2022 in Longview, TX after a brief illness. She was 74 years old. She was born and raised on the Westbank of New Orleans and was a graduate of West Jefferson High School (class of 1966). Linda was an exceptional mother, grandmother, and friend. She cared deeply for others and went out of her way to help people any way she could. She did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was. She enjoyed traveling and got to visit and live in many places. Memorable trips were those with her parents and family in her adolescence, cruises, Girls Weekends, and a bucket list trip to New York City at Christmastime. Her Louisiana heritage and culture were a big part of her life. She loved Mardi Gras, her Saints (even during the ‘Ain’t years), and had a passion for bringing joy to others through her cooking.
Linda is survived by her three children, Kevin (Dawn), Erin, and Seth and three grandchildren, Haydn, McKenzie, and Landry. They invite you to join them at a Celebration of Life party on Saturday, December 3rd at Fezzo’s Restaurant in Broussard, LA from 1:00- 4:00pm. All who cared for Linda are welcome.
The family requests no flowers at this time. Please consider a donation to the charity of your choice.
