Lily Mae Ward Havis
Funeral services for Lily Mae Ward Havis, 96, of Longview will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 18, 2012 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with the Reverend David English officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park. She passed away Tuesday, October 16, in a local nursing facility.
Mrs. Havis was born May 17, 1916 in Oklahoma to Greenberry and Anna Patterson Dodd. She married her husband Lawrence Ward in May 1933. She was a homemaker, an avid hunter and golfer, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Longview. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawrence Ward and her second husband Dutch Havis; and her grandson, David Ward.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Judy Bellatti and husband Chuck of Longview; sons, Larry Ward and wife Evelyn of Kerrville, TX and Ron Ward and wife Dez of Marcola, OR; grandchildren, Doug Bellatti and wife Angie, Karen Fleet and husband Michael, Rick Bellatti and wife Shana, Robin Learn, Daniel Ward, Tawni Ward, Kurt Ward and Chris Ward; and 15 great grandchildren.
