Lillie Modell Jones' Obituary
Funeral services for Lillie Modell Jones, 88, of Garrison, formerly of Longview will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 18. 2015 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Reverend Gara Handorf will officiate. Burial will follow in Riley County Line # 2 Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Mrs. Jones was born September 17, 1926 in Titus County to Roy and Mary Louetta Willis and passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015 in a Garrison Nursing Home. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Garrison.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J.B. Jones; son, Dale Jones; sisters, Marie and Louetta; and her brother, Cline.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Juanita Springer and husband George of Garrison, Lloyd Jones and wife Susan of Georgetown, and David Jones and wife Judy of White Oak; brother, Emmanuel Grissom of Galena Park, TX; grandchildren, Edward Springer, Amy Springer, Weyman Jones, Bryan Jones, Jeff Jones, Chelsea Jones, Christine Herbert and Weldon Wallace, II; 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to North Longview Baptist Church
