Lillian M. Hall's Obituary
Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian M. Hall, age 73 of Laneville, will be held Friday June 12, 2009 at 10:30am in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson with Rev. Joe Orr officiating. Burial will follow in the Rusk County Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Hall died Tuesday June 9, 2009 in a local nursing facility.
She was born February 5, 1936 in the Joy Community near Liberty City, and had lived in Laneville since 1994. Lillian began playing the piano for church services at the Joy Baptist Church at age 14, she was also the church pianist at 3 other Baptist churches. She graduated as valedictorian of her senior class at Sabine High School, and graduated with honors from Kilgore Jr. College with an Associate Degree. Lillian was a retired school secretary from the Mt. Vernon and Canton school districts. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Mt. Enterprise.
She was preceded in death by her parents Morris G. & Elizabeth Wilkins
She is survived by her husband James R. Hall of Laneville, who she married August 20, 1955. Also surviving is a daughter Beth Warren of Tyler; son Jason Ray Hall of Canton; sister Louise Orr of Henderson; granddaughters Ashli of Irving, Kaitlyn of Canton; grandsons Jacob of Nacogdoches, Brian of Floresville, Stephen of Tyler, and Jared of Canton.
The family will meet friends at the Funeral Home from 6-8pm Thursday
