Lilia Lynette Bruce
Lilia Lynette Bruce was born on July 25, 1962 in the Panama Canal Zone where her father was stationed in the Army. She passed away on May 10, 2016. Lynette and family moved to Longview when she was very young. She attended Pine Tree Schools and later was employed as a doctor’s assistant, a lab assistant and various sales positions. Lynette is survived by her parents, Judy and Walter Moon of Longview; sons Joshua Bruce and Aaron Vannatta of Longview; sister and brother-in-law, Jan & Jerry Small of Longview, brother and sister-in-law, Darryl and Nadine Moon and nephews Austin and Ethan Moon, all of Moorehead, Minnesota; great aunt Vivilyn Kalil of Houston and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her son, Eric Moon of Longview. She was loved by many and as one of her friends said, “She lit up the room with her smile and humor and the way she cared for her family and friends.” Even through the last few years, she was very ill but continued to be strong and fight, determined to see her youngest son, Aaron, Graduate from high school which she was not able to do. She loved her sons and her family and friends dearly and will be missed by all who knew her. A visitation will be held at Rader Funeral Home of Longview on Friday, May 13, 2016 from 6-8 PM and a graveside memorial service will be held at Rosewood Park at 10 AM Monday, May 16, 2016.
