Services for Lila Mae ?Mom? Hick-man, 79, of Longview will be held at a 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 13, at Rader Funeral Home in Longview. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. at Salem Cemetery in Athens Lou-isiana. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. on Monday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Hickman died Saturday, July 9, 2004 in a local hospital. Mrs. Hickman was born on February 14, 1925, in Vicksburg Ms. to James and Pauline Wade. Mrs. Hickman grew up in Vicksburg before moving to Haynesville, Louisiana and eventually Longview. She worked most of her life as a homemaker. Mrs. Hickman was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Hickman, and one son Joe Oakes. She is survived by her sons and their wives: Donnie and Dora, Jimmie and Mary, and Jeffery and Chris-tine Hickman, all of Longview; daugh-ters: Fran Williams, Linda Miller, Shirley McNaimee; James Oakes and David Oakes; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
