Lexi Reigh Commander
Funeral services for Lexi Reigh Commander, 7, of Gladewater, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2011 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. She passed away Saturday, December 17, in a Longview hospital.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Lexi was born on March 5, 2004 in Longview, TX. She was in the 2nd grade at Broadway Elementary in Gladewater where she was a straight A student with perfect attendance. She made lots of friends at school and daycare, and loved for someone to come to her house and play.
Lexi was a bright, beautiful, bubbly child who loved life. She never met a stranger, loved to give big hugs, always laughed and had biggest and cheesiest smile. She loved to sing and dance and make up cheers with her friends at school. Lexi loved to color pictures and draw and write notes to her family.
She was loved by so many and left marks on everyone's heart that she met.
Those left to cherish her memory are mother, Jaclyn Harvey and John Eric Retiz of Hallsville; father and step-mother, Kyle and Kelli Commander of Gladewater; sister, Jacelyn Retiz of Hallsville; Mimi and Papa Mark and Pat Commander of Gladewater; her Papaw and Nene Don Harvey and Deanie Kellis of Hallsville; her grandmommy Brenda Iacono of Malakoff; grandparents, Johnny and Linda Allen of Liberty City; Great Grandmother, Margie Morgan of Lufkin; and Great Grandparents, Ray and Joyce Harvey of Athens; twin cousins, Layne and Morgan Fields; aunts, Jessica Kellis of Hallsville and Destiny Iacono of Malakoff; uncles, Donny Ray Harvey of Hallsville and Johnny Lee Iacono of Malakoff; and numerous aunts, uncles and other cousins and loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her uncle, Heath Fields; her Nanny, Helen Harvey and Grandpoppy John Iacono.
