Lettie Lou Freeman Luman
Funeral services for Lettie Lou Freeman Luman, 55, of Longview will be held at Ten O'clock am Friday November 21, 2008 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home 1617 Judson Road with Reverend Jay McCasland officiating. Interment will follow in Rosewood Park Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Luman passed away Tuesday November 18, 2008 in Longview.
She was born November 16, 1953 in Ft. Worth, Texas to George and Ruby Mae Campbell Lester. She worked at Texas Eastman, then found her calling in the legal field for 18 years as a CLA, PLS with Erskine and McMahon attorneys.
She was a graduate of Tatum High School and a member of the Northside Baptist Church on Judson Road.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin Luman of Longview, children, Christopher McClelland and wife Sherry of Gladewater; Billy McClelland and wife Brooke of Rowlett, TX.; Travis Curry and wife Belinda of Carthage; Daughter, Casey Horton of Longview; Josh Luman of Longview; daughter, Ashton Luman of Longview; grandchildren, Zackery McClelland, Kayla McClelland, Chase McClelland, Anna Grace McClelland, Taylor Kate McClelland, Haley Horton, Bailey Horton, Mackenzy Moore, Nicholle Moore, McKayla Moore, brother, Vernon L. Freeman, Jr. and wife Donnie of Hallsville, numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father Vernon L. Freeman, Sr.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday November 20, 2008 from 6-8pm.
The family would like to thank Dr. Couch, Taylor, Leath, and Dr. Martin as well as staff at Texas Oncology, and the Oncology Floor at Good Shepherd Medical Center, as well as all the prayers that were lifted up for Lettie in her time of illness.
