I first knew Les many years ago at First Methodist Church and attended Bible studies at his home off of Eden Drive. He was a godly businessman, pastor, father and teacher who raised his children well. I last saw him several years ago, surrounded by his children at a birthday celebration at Pizza King. He will be missed.
Lester will always be MR. Wooten to me. Throughout my entire life I have respected him and looked at him with a kind of awe. He was a busy man in charge of many things but always took the time to talk with us kids/ teens. I loved our hangout time with the family and have many wonderful memories of them all. I know he will be missed! Praying for all the family.
