Funeral services for Lester Claude Pritchett, 63, of Longview will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 21, 2008 at the Judson Community Baptist Church with Dr. Keith Rothra officiating. Graveside services will be held in the Crandall Cemetery, Crandall, Texas at 2 p.m. Monday under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. He passed away Tuesday, July 15, at his residence.
Mr. Pritchett was born November 1, 1944 in Kaufman County, Texas to Elmer and Iva Pritchett. A former resident of Crandall, he was employed with the Dallas Independent School District in maintenance for 18 years, then moved to Lake 'O the Pines and worked for the Jefferson Independent School District and retired after 11 years. He was a member of the Judson Community Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years, Sandra Pritchett of Longview; daughter, Rebecca Brown of Haltom City, TX; sons, Ronald Pritchett of the U.S. Army in Iraq and Bill Pritchett of Longview; sisters, Magie Steele, Marie Baker, Evelyn Langley, Edith Farmer and Modell Ewing; and numerous nieces and nephews.
