Leroy Eugene Linseisen Jr.'s Obituary
Leroy Eugene Linseisen Jr. “Lee”, a man of the earth and flowers, passed away at the age of 55 in Houston, TX on October 6, 2021. Lee was born on August 27, 1966 in Tomball, TX to Leroy Eugene Linseisen Sr. and Glenda Lee Nipper. Lee graduated from White Oak High School in 1984. He then worked in his family’s business and continued to work in sales for the majority of his career. Lee enjoyed being outside in his garden, planting and cultivating the ground, or meticulously manicuring the lawn. He prided himself with an award winning lawn, as if it were a competition with the neighbors. When he wasn’t maintaining the lawn, you might find him in the kitchen cooking something that was picked from his vegetable garden. Lee also loved music and coaching softball. Lee had an incredible work ethic and the “gift of gab”. He could pick up a conversation with just about anyone.
He was proceeded in death by one brother, Steven, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Lee is survived by his sons Justin Linseisen and wife Stephanie Linseisen of Lexington, KY, Logan Linseisen of Longview, TX, daughters, Laney Linseisen of Spring Hill, TX, and Lindsay Willeford of Longview, TX; his granddaughter, Olivia Linseisen; his grandsons Lewis and Austin Lawson; his former wife, Brandi Linseisen of Spring Hill, TX; his parents, Glenda Lee Nipper and husband Charlie Nipper of Longview, TX and Leroy Eugene Linseisen Sr. and wife, Ruth Ann Linseisen of Longview, TX; his siblings, Nathan Linseisen, of Longview, TX, and Bryon Linseisen, of Carthage, TX; and other family and friends.
The family will receive friends at Radar Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 5pm-7pm.
