Lerlene Brooks' Obituary
Graveside services for Lerlene Brooks, 81, 0f Longview, will be 1 PM Monday at Rosewood Park Cemetery with Reverend Merrell Brooks officiating. Interment will follow in Rosewood Park Cemetery under the directions of Rader Funeral Home, Longview.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 4 PM.
Mrs. Brooks died Friday in a local nursing center.
A native of Purdon, Texas, she was born September 20, 1921 to the late William J. and Willie Lena Barnes. She was a homemaker and a member of the Woodland Hills Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband: Leonard Wade Brooks, Daughter: Judy Ritchie and husband Bobby of Longview; Brother: Ben J. Barnes of Tucson, AZ.; Sisters: Zerlene Healy of Lindale, TX, Cecil Ruth Parsons of Plano and Margie Dale of El Paso and many nieces and nephews.
