Funeral services for Mr. Leonard Ray Edwards, age 60 , of Henderson, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday August 12, 2006, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson with the Rev. Doyle Sumrall officiating. Graveside services Will be held at 2:00 PM at the Smyrna Cemetery near Harleton under the direction of The Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mr. Edwards was born April 15, 1946, in Harleton.
Survivors include Children, Nancy Richardson of Oklahoma City, Russell Fleming of San Antonio, Linna Rae Craver of Ore City, Ruby Jane Fleming
Of Dallas, and John Steven White. Step Children, Lynette Berry, Debbie Bailey, Sherrie Woods, Donna Klute, Wendy Young, Theresa Berry and Jackie Berry all of Henderson. Sisters Betty Jane, Maggie, Fayrene Ewing of Marshall, Maudie Crosby of New Boston, Brothers, Lonnie Edwards of Marshall, George Edwards of Linden, James Edwards of Longview.
Friend and companion for 20 years, Faye Berry of Henderson.
Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by his parents Evel Allen and
Clara Jane Edwards, and a brother Raymond Edwards.
Pallbearers will be Justin Berry, Dustin Berry, Josh Berry, Matt Wood, Kirk Crosby and David Jennings. Honorary Pallbearers will be Stephen Morris and Mark Morris.
Family visistation will be Friday from 6PM until 8PM at the funeral home.
