Graveside services for Leon W. Daniels, 69, of Longview will be held at 10 AM Monday, January 6, 2003 at Rosewood Park with the Reverends Roy Johns and David Lawson officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Fu-neral Home of Longview.
Mr. Daniels was born on July 22, 1933 in Birmingham, Alabama to Oren and Lelia Daniels. He passed away on January 3, 2003 at his residence.
He has lived in Longview since 1965, where he was a self employed Land Sur-veyor and a member of the Oakland Heights Baptist Church.
A loving father, grandfather, and brother, Mr. Daniels was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by Cecille Dan-iels of Longview, sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Lynn Daniels of Longview, David and Becky Daniels of The Colony, daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Jerry Froidl of Longview, grandchildren, Paul and Sarah Daniels, Stephen Daniels, Derek and Kimberly Froidl, brother, Joe and Judith Daniels of Abilene, foster brothers, James Randall Cheek of Garland, Ed Cheek of Arling-ton, foster sister, Rebecca Thompson of Roanoke, VA., Virginia Guynes of Cleveland, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Oakland Heights Baptist Church, 1600 Judson Road, Longview, Texas 75601.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM Sunday, January 5, 2003 at the fu-neral home.
