Lelia Joyce Branham's Obituary
Funeral services for Lelia Joyce Branham, age 87, of Laredo, formerly of Henderson and Tyler will be held Tuesday February 26, 2008 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson. Burial will follow in the Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Branham passed away Friday February 22, in a Laredo.
Lelia Joyce Branham was born February 18, 1921 in the Sacul Community. She married Earl Branham on April 3, 1942, and they lived in Henderson until the early 1950's. She was a retired school teacher and a former member of the St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Henderson and the Pollard United Methodist Church in Tyler
She was preceded in death by a son Monte Branham.
She is survived her husband Earl Branham of Laredo, daughter Brenda Crockett & husband Sam of Laredo, grandchildren Erin of Georgetown and Lindsay of San Antonio.
She is also survived by her sister-in-law Emily Crawford of Henderson, niece Norma Martin of Henderson, nephew Sid Ashby of Henderson, other local survivors include the Billy Bob Parker Family and the Hal Martin family both of Henderson.
Pallbereres will be Billy Bob Parker, Hal Martin. Tod Ashley, Fred Wilkerson, Clint Ross, Andrew Oldham, and Jack Jones. Honorary pallbearer will be Sid Ashby
The family will meet friend one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
