Leisa Michele Lorenz's Obituary
Leisa Michele Lorenz
July 25, 1956 – April 21, 2024
“Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.” – Prov. 31: 28
Leisa Michele Nalley Lorenz was born on July 25, 1956, and was called home by her Heavenly Father on April 21, 2024.
Leisa was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She and Mark were married for 41 years and faithfully loved each other through the raising of four children, job relocations and numerous home remodeling projects. Leisa homeschooled their four children, raised them on home-baked bread and good books, and was always the first to offer a sympathetic ear and words of wisdom for all of life’s problems. When her grandchildren began to arrive, she welcomed them with open arms, and they adored “Mama Lee”. Leisa was a lifelong follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. She raised her family “in the nurture and admonition of the Lord” and faithfully prayed for God’s best for them. Leisa loved the Lord and her family, and if you had a conversation with her, you’d be sure to hear about both. Her family is eternally grateful for the gift and blessing Leisa was and continues to be. She will be missed beyond measure.
Leisa is survived by her husband, Mark; her children, Rebekah (husband, Will), Christopher (wife, Melynie), Sarah (husband, Ben) and Mileah; four grandchildren, Emmett, Lucy, Samuel and Hazel; two brothers, Jonathan (wife, Jill), and Kevin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Leisa was preceded in death by her father, Bill Nalley; her mother, Betty Clayton Lucy; and her stepfather, Frank Lucy.
