Lealon Cummings Jr.'s Obituary
Lealon Cummings Jr, 71, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 6, 2015. Mr. Cummings died at his home in Fort Worth TX. surrounded by his beloved family. He was an avid gardener and loved spending time with his family, especially his “perfect” grandchildren. He leaves behind his loving wife of 46 years Ann; his daughter and son-in-law Toni and Kirk Moore; and their children, Nicholas and Kailyn, all of Fort Worth.
Also surviving are his brother and their wives, A.J. and Louise Cumming of Boonville, AR, and Rudy and Barbara Cumming of Jonesboro, AR; sisters and their husbands, Betty Peronia (Duffy deceased) of Jonesboro, AR, Linda and Terry Colburn of Egypt, AR, Shirley and Glenn Murphy of Walnut Ridge, AR, and Joy and Dennis Lingo of Egypt, AR; he also leaved behind numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Lealon and Edna Cummings; a brother Ed and two nephews, Eddie and Jay Lee Cummings.
He was a USAF Vietnam Veteran, and he worked at Texas Eastern Transmission Corp for 33 years.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 8, from 6-8pm at Rader Funeral Home in Longview with graveside services conducted at 10a.m. Tuesday, June 9 at Rosewood Cemetery Mausoleum.
