Funeral Services for Lawrence Poddy Seilhant, 59, of Longview will be held at Ten O?clock Monday January 22, 2007 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home 1617 Judson Road with Reverend Earl W. ?Buddy? Duggins officiating. Burial will follow in Kilgore City Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Seilhant passed away Thursday January 18, 2007 in Dallas.
He was born December 23, 1947 in Lumberton, Mississippi to Willard and Bobbie Kennedy Seilhant. He served in the U. S. Navy and worked for the Food Fast Corporation and attended The University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee.
He is survived by his wife, Gwen of Longview, sons, Cory Turman and wife Amy of Diana, Tx.; Trey Burk and wife Melissa of Hallsville, TX.;
Grandchildren, Seth Burke and his mother, Chandra Ponder, Hunter Burk, Kaydee Burk, Amber Turman and Haley Turman, sister, Cheryl Bowen and husband Travis of Kilgore, TX; brothers, Bud Seilhant and wife Armida of McCamey, TX.; Jerry Seilhant and wife Diane of Chalk Hill, TX.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday January 21, 2007 from 2pm until 4 pm.
