Lawrence was in the transportation business as well as being a successful rancher. Raised in the Minden community and was a member of the Minden Baptist Church.
He was a great man, loving husband, proud father and grand daddy. Never met a stranger, always willing to help those in need and had a story for every occasion.
He enjoyed checking his cattle with his dog Pepper, quail hunting, crappie fishing and spending time with his family.
Under that old cowboy hat stood more than just a man, he was and still is a legend, loved dearly and will be deeply missed by all.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made at Citizens National Bank or at the memorial service for the charities; Cal Farley Boys Ranch in Amarillo, the American Heart Association, St. Judes or the Alzheimer’s Association.
