Lauron Lee Musfeldt's Obituary
Memorial services for Lauron Lee Musfeldt of Longview, will be held 2 PM Friday, March 24, 2006 at the Greggton United Methodist Church with Reverends Becky Henson and Emmitt Barrow officiating under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Lee passed away March 21, 2006 at Good Shepherd Medical Center.
Lee was born March 17, 1937 in Scranton, Iowa. He was a member of Greggton Church, where he served as an usher and also as a Sunday school teacher, and on the finance and memorial committees. He loved golfing, playing bridge, volunteering at church and in the community, and traveling. Lee served on the Longview Board of Adjustments, volunteered to help people displaced from hurricanes Katrina and Rita, served on the Metropolitan Planning Commission in suburban Chicago, was United Way Chairman, and helped with the Boy Scouts. He worked for John Deere, Signode, FMC, and LeTourneau, Inc.
Surviving are his wife, Beverly; daughter, Janice Musfeldt and her husband, David Bernhodt of Knoxville, TN; son, James Musfeldt and his wife, Belle of Pleasanton, CA; and three brothers, Dale, Ralph, and Roger.
The family requests that memorials be made to Greggton Methodist Church or Asbury House.
