Lauren Anita Norman's Obituary
On March 4, 2024 Lauren Anita Norman, 28, of Tatum, tragically lost her life. She was born on September 3, 1995 in Kilgore, to Wesley Norman and Anita Phelps. She lived most of her life in Longview, Texas. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and singing at the top of her lungs while riding in the car with the windows rolled down. She was a beautiful and intelligent young woman. Lauren was feisty and outspoken, but would do anything for anyone. She always lit up the room with her smile and sense of humor. She loved BIG and never met a stranger.
In addition to her father, Wesley Norman, she was preceded in death by her “Gumma," Carol Pritchard Reed, and grandfather, Willie A. Phelps.
Survivors include: mother, Anita Phelps Odom, of Tatum, brother, Brad Fountain and his wife, Kassi, of Longview, brother Sevin Odom, of Longview, sister, Shelby Martin, of Longview, and Darian Church, of North Carolina, niece, Kaia Rose, of North Carolina, step-dad, Jeff Odom, of Longview, step-father, Richard Church, of Dallas, step-mom, Lea Ann Norman, step-sisters, Brittany Wooley, Catherine Armstrong, Jessica Bennett, step-brother, Jonathan Armstrong, Justin Odom, Clayton Odom, grandparents, Juanita and Earl McGilvra, grandparents, Wyatt and Isela Norman, Meme Gwen Elder, uncle, Jon Norman and his wife, Kelli, uncle, Jared Norman, and wife Jessica, uncle, Gary Alewine and his wife Kelly, uncle, Noah McGilvra, and his wife, Virginia, uncle, Tony McGilvra, aunt, Lisa Barnett and her husband Kenneth Barnett, special cousins, Mandy Clark, Reed, and Remi Norman, Jax and Julz Norman, and Tara Hardy, Naylan Phelps and Hunter Phelps and special friends, Matt Cunningham, Justin Risinger, Shera Daniels, Cristal Dominguez, and Brittany Lopez, , as well as numerous other great uncles and aunts, cousins and many many many friends.
Pallbearers will be Jon Norman, Brad Fountain, Gary Alewine, Noah McGilvra, Shelby Martin and Daniel Benavides.
