Funeral services for Lauren Mackenzie Frazier, 18, of Longview will be held at Noon Today, August 21, 2004 at Mobberly Baptist Church with Dr. Laney L. Johnson, Reverend Neal Thornburgh, and Reverend Paul Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Noonday Cemetery in Hallsville under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. The family received friends Friday evening at the funeral home.
Lauren was born October 22, 1985 in Longview to Wayne and Tonya Frazier. She went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 18, 2004 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Lauren grew up in Longview and was a 2004 graduate of Pine Tree High School where she was involved in track and field, cross country, and Z-Club. As a faithful servant of the Lord, Lauren ministered to her friends at school and was a faithful member of Mobberly Baptist Church, where she was very active in the youth group and ?Living Proof? youth choir. Lauren was accepted and enrolled in Baylor University, where she would have begun classes on Monday, August 23, 2004.
A loving, daughter, sister, and granddaughter, Lauren is survived by her parents; sisters, Lindsey Frazier of Greenville, Lacy Frazier of Waco; grandparents, W.G. and Anceline Frazier of Hallsville, and Glen and Wanda Gibson of Bullard; great grandfather, J.A. Clinton of Longview; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
