Laurelle Rushing Gray's Obituary
Laurelle Rushing Gray died Friday, June 28th in Longview, TX.
Mrs. Gray was born April 2, 1925 in Paris, Texas to Walter Granville Rushing and Violet O'Dell Oats Rushing. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Longview, where she taught Sunday school for many years, and served in several other capacities with great dedication.
She was married and widowed by her three husbands, Charles Morgan Fuller, William Harold Laible, and William Hardman Gray, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Lt. Col. Gustave Bouligny Baldwin IV and her stepson Bill Gray.
She is survived by her daughter, Billie Katherine (BK) Fuller Baldwin (Gus III), and her grandchildren, Katherine Baldwin Carr (Kevin) and Sloane Baldwin McGregor.
She is also survived by her stepson, Scott Gray, and her step grandchildren, Terry Gray (Lisa), Vicky Gray, Carrie Wilder, Sherry G. Tilley, and Stephen Gray. In addition, she is survived by her niece, Dana Rushing Smith, many great-grandchildren, and three people who were family to her, dear friends Tommy and Eileen Harpster and Willia King.
Following a private burial, a Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, July 9 at 10 AM at Rader Funeral Home with Dr. David English officiating. The Family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Friendship Room at Buckner Westminster.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial in Mrs. Gray's name to First Baptist Church of Longview.
