I want to offer my condolences to the family Laura Lott! I was saddened to hear of the passing of Laura Lott. She was my supervisor during my short time with Longview Regional School for the Deaf. I always remember her smile and her encouraging words as a new teacher. You could sense her sincere love and passion for the kids and teachers of her program. I was sorry to hear of Laura’s passing. She was my supervisor at Longview Regional Day School for the Deaf for over 30 years. I always appreciated her help and confidence in my teaching ability through all those years. She worked hard at trying to make the program a quality program and involved her teachers in that endeavor. May she rest in peace.
I worked with Mrs.Lott for three years at Longview ISD. She was always so sweet. She made me feel welcome from the very beginning. She visited with me at lunch one day just to get to know me. She made sure to ask questions about my family and things that were important to me. She will be missed.
Laura and I served together on the board of the Women’s Center of East Texas several years ago. She was a very nice lady and a committed and dedicated board member. I am so sorry to hear of her passing death. Condolences to her family and friends.
I want to extend my deepest sympathy to Karley as well as many Laura's close friends. It was a privilege to work with Laura for over 15 years at Longview ISD, Laura spent her professional life caring for others especially those who suffered with hearing loss. Our offices were close to each other. When time permitted we talked about many different topics trying to solve the "world's problems" as well as making education better for students with mental and physical issues.
I will always remember Laura as a creative, caring person who had a "big heart" for helping others.
