Laura Imogene Shye's Obituary
Memorial services for Mrs. Laura Imogene Shye, 86, of Whitehouse Texas is scheduled for 2 pm, Monday June 29th 2009, at The Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Tommy Langford officiating.
Mrs. Shye passed away Thursday evening June 25th, 2009 with her family by her side at a Whitehouse nursing facility. Mrs. Shye was born October 13th, 1922 in Cottonwood Alabama to George Faulk and Gladys Watford.
She worked as a Nurses Aide for 25 years but her greatest job was as a loving and devoted mother. She was preceded in death by her Parents, George Faulk and Gladys Watford, Husband, John Shye, Son, James Shye, and Brothers Grover Faulk and George Faulk Jr.
She is survived by her Daughters Fran Mooney of Hawkins Texas, Merry and Harry Allbright of Kilgore Texas, Son, John Shye of Las Cruces New Mexico, Three Grandchildren and two Great-grandchildren. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Alliance of Smith County 211 Winchester Tyler, TX 75701.
