Funeral services for Laura Ellen Reed, 46, of Longview, will be 4:15 PM Wednesday at T. G. Field Auditorium with Reverend Jace Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Rosewood Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends at Read Obituary
I have lost touch with Laura and did not realize she was here in Longview. I have been back here 9 yrs, and hate I did not know that. She was a good friend in H.S at Pine Tree. We were in band together and she was alot of fun and very sweet and outgoing. It sounds like LHS is going to really be void an awesome person. Mrs. Reed my heart and prayers go out to you. I had no idea until today that Laura had passed away. I know you'll remember me from my mom, Colleen and Joe Howell as she worked very closely with Jim. Laura and I had a great time growing up and I am saddened to see that she has passed on to heaven. All my family is up there now so I know she'll be in great company. You are very much in my toughts and I'm so sorry I didn't find out about this until now. May God bless and keep you in his loving arms always.

Although we lost touch over the years, I will always remember "Larkie" from our days growing up as next door neighbors. One favorite memory is when we would go into your backyard and have to run as fast as we could to the swings because Sherlock the Bassethound was on our heels nipping at our little booties! Laura and I had so much fun together! I still have an adorable picture of her with a huge smile on her face! You are all in my prayers. Please know I love all of you!

I worked at LHS for 7 years and your daugher was a gift to all of us. Not just for the great job she did but for the laughter and joy she brought us...what a cut up! I always enjoyed going in her office to visit and read the quotes and posters on the walls!

I will miss my Laura, she was so special. A couple of years ago I helped Laura with the student voting for Miss Lobo and we both started asking anyone who walked by to vote for us .
