LaRue Chandler Dorsey's Obituary
LaRue Chandler Dorsey, age 91, of Longview, Texas entered her rest in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 13, 2018. LaRue was born October 23, 1926 to John Luther Chandler and Naomi Colvin Chandler in Tenaha, Texas. She was their only child. LaRue graduated from Henderson High School and then attended Texas Women’s University and Kilgore College Evening School where she took various courses including French. She worked as a secretary for both Joe Bailey Allen, Attorney and then for Texas Eastman in Longview and retired after 20 years of faithful service. LaRue was a charter member of Longview Christian Fellowship.
LaRue’s parents and her son Randall Lamar Dorsey preceded her in passing.
She is survived by her grandson John Randall Bailey and his wife Bridgette of New London, Texas and several cousins and extended family members.
There will be a time of viewing Monday, May 21, 2018 at Rader Funeral Home in Longview from 6pm-8pm. Interment will be at 11am Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Rusk County Memorial Gardens in Henderson with a memorial service later that day starting at 2pm at Rader Funeral Home in Longview.
