Larry Wayne Wisdom's Obituary
Larry Wayne Wisdom, 74, passed away peacefully on August 23rd, 2024, at Hospice of East Texas, surrounded by family. Larry was born March 11th, 1950 in Marshall, Texas to Velma and Alfred Wisdom.
During his life, Larry served in the army as a mechanic during the Vietnam War, from 1969 to 1975. From there, he would later go on to work as a machinist at various locations, but most notably Capacity. Larry had a passion for building and fixing things during his life.
Larry was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Dorothy Wisdom; his children, Timothy Wisdom, Amy Lewis, Matthew Wisdom, & Becky Wisdom; his sisters Linda Sue Williams & Carolyn Watson; brother-in-law Roger Watson; and many grandkids, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded by his parents, Velma and Alfred Wisdom, and his brothers Raymond Wisdom and James Wisdom.
Larry was a good man who loved to laugh and joke around. He touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
