Larry Wayne Reedy
Larry Wayne Reedy, 75, passed away Monday, July 24, 2017, in a Dallas hospital. Larry was born March 21, 1942, in Atwood, IL to Troy and Bertie Reedy. He was a Baptist and a U. S. Air Force Veteran. He retired for Thikol as a maintenance supervisor. Larry was a member of the Hallsville Masonic Lodge #167.
Larry was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather and loved boarding the big ships and taking ocean cruises with his wife. He will be truly missed by all who loved and knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; father and mother-in-law, Olin and Cora Barker.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 56 years, Melba Barker Reedy of Longview; his daughters, Sharon Reedy Donnely and husband Tim of Terrell and Brenda Reedy Lee of Longview; his sister, Karen Morehead of Chicago, IL; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
