Larry D. Jordan's Obituary
Larry Douglas Jordan, was born December 20, 1947 in Henderson, Texas and died in Pensacola, Florida
May 18, 2018. He was the son of Lewis W. Jordan and Eunice Whatley Jordan. He grew up working in the family plumbing business, Jordan Plumbing Company, and carried on in the career of master plumber after his father's death until medical issues intervened. His life journey was rough, beginning with the diagnosis of a brain tumor in 1984. But he would tell you that he was blessed. He was blessed with two wonderful children: Chase Jordan of Tyler, Texas and LTJG Alicia N. Jordan (USN) of Pensacola, Florida.
He is survived by his two children; one sister, Jeanne Jordan Johnson and her husband Roland of Kilgore; two nephews, Brian Johnson and his wife Natalie of Kilgore and Colin Johnson and his wife Laura of Lafayette, Louisiana; and one great-niece, Arya Rose Johnson. In addition he was loved by his Uncle Glen and Aunt Audrey Whatley plus many cousins and good friends throughout the years.
Services for Larry will be 2:00pm Wednesday May 23, 2018 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson. Burial will follow at Rusk County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Chase Jordan, Brian Johnson, Colin Johnson, Rick Thrasher, Jimmy Sanders and Bobby Manning. Family will receive friends from 1pm until service time Wednesday.
