Larry Douglas Brown, Sr.
Graveside services for Larry Douglas Brown, Sr., 61, of Lone Star will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 4, 2004 at Memory Park Cemetery. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. He died Monday, March 1, 2004 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.
Mr. Brown was born November 6, 1942 to Larry and Annie Brown, and was a long time resident of Lone Star. He was an electrical maintenance supervisor for Lone Star Steel for 32 years. He was a member of the Iron Bluff Masonic Lodge in Lone Star, a 32 degree Mason and a Shriner. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran, and attended the South Union Missionary Baptist Church, Daingerfield.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sue Brown of Lone Star; son and daughter-in-law, Larry, Jr. and Amy Brown of Longview; sisters, Annie Ruth Ryan of Liberty City, Frankie Leftwich of Lampasas, Texas, Doris Garrett of Garland, and Edna Hudgens of White Oak; grandchildren, Destiney Carpenter, Daylyn Brown, and Ryan Brown.
