I remember Rea as being the most perfect kind of Mom when we were growing up. I always admired, respected and wanted to be near the family and "like her" in the way she carried herself, shared her humor and showed her steadfast devotion to her family. She was ALWAYS the same - always could be counted upon for good advice, a word to whip you into shape if you needed it - and never seemed to doubt herself one bit (at least not in front of us friends of her kids). And, I think she was the only one that could truly tell O.D. how it should be (of course, doing so in a graceful, southern charm fashion)...She will be missed, but she definitely left her legacy in each member of her family. So, happily, we will still see her humor and steadfast love coming through in her family and future generations, and we will see Rea again when we pass on to our heavenly home. May God grant the family the peace that passes understanding.
