Funeral services for Lanie Louise Rodgers Anderson, 62, of Lake Cherokee, will be held at 2 PM Monday, September 20, 2004 in the Mausoleum Chapel at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Dr. Gary Orr officiating. Entombment will follow.
Mrs. Anderson died Friday evening , September 17, 2004 at her residence.
She was born June 29, 1942 in Tenneryville, Texas to Charles A. Rodgers and Charlotte F. Gist Rodgers.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church, a secretary for Groendyke Transport and worked as a hairdresser.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jean Dorris; brothers Charles, Frederick ?Red?, and Robert Rodgers.
She is survived by her loving husband, Berle Anderson; children, Robert Hemus and wife Lisa, Charlotte Hilderbrand Watson, Buddy Anderson and Tiajuana Anderson Neel; sister, Margaret Dawson and her children, Deanna Dawson Smith and D. J. Dawson; grandchildren, John & Cody Hemus, Arica & Carly Watson, Heather ?Cissy? Rogers, Amanda Rogers, Michael Goettle, Whitney Neel, Jennifer Lopez, Trey Anderson, K. T. Anderson; great grandchildren, Britney , Jacob, Jose?, Jordan, Hailey, Michael, Kayla & Colton; many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends at the Anderson?s home, NI-12 Lake Cherokee, Sunday afternoon from 6-8 PM.
