Landon Rodgers' Obituary
Landon Rodgers, age 30, passed away on August 6, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.
He was a 2002 graduate of Pine Tree High School and life- long resident of Longview, Texas. Landon was a member of Stone Ridge Baptist Church in Kilgore and loved the time he spent with church family. Landon never met a stranger and had a deep and sincere love for others.
Landon was preceded in death by his mother, Annette Rodgers, grandparents Herman and Evelyn Hammonds of New Boston, Texas, and Carlos Rodgers of DeKalb, Texas. He is survived by his father and stepmother, Tommy and Laura Rodgers of Longview, sister and brother-in-law, Lindsey and Brad Blanchard of Dallas, brother Taylor Eager of Longview, sister Katie Eager of Austin, grandmothers Bonnie Rodgers of DeKalb, Texas, and Harriett Conner of Longview. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews who loved him dearly, Cohen, Sage, Ellie and Truett Blanchard and Copelan and Teagan Eager. Also cherishing his memory is his lifelong best friend, Stephen Smith.
Landon was a proud member of the Sons of the Confederate Veterans, General John Gregg Camp 958 where he was appointed Color Sergeant.

Services will be held today at 2:00 pm at Stone Ridge Baptist Church, 4100 Stone Rd, Kilgore, Texas. Burial will be in New Boston, no graveside services.
