Lance Alexander Keener's Obituary
Lance Alexander Keener, "Our Little Angel", was born October 31, 1987 at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview. He was surrounded by his family when he peacefully united with our Lord in Heaven on January 17, 2011.
Lance was preceded in death by his grandfather, Truman Wayne "Pops" Gardner of Longview, and by his great grandmother, Laverne Hester Huffman of Marshall.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Celeste Huffman Fears; step-father, Jerry Fears; father, Ronald Keener, SR; four brothers and sisters, Ronald Keener, JR, Brandi Keener, Simone Keener, and Donald Keener, all of Longview. Grandparents are Dr. Sarah Cole and Edgar "Beaver" Cole of Kilgore, David and Peggy Huffman of Hallsville, and Karla Gardner of Longview. Great grandparents are Dr. James Curtis Lock and Mary Lou Lock of Longview, and W.A. "Bill" Huffman of Marshall.
Lance attended Longview ISD and Hallsville ISD. He touched the lives of everyone who was lucky enough to meet him. For most, Lance was an inspiration, but for those deeply involved, he was our miracle, our Angel Unaware. You hold a piece of our hearts. You will be deeply missed.
A memorial service will be held at 4 PM Thursday, January 20, 2011 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
