I knew Lajuanda for a brief time, while she was a resident at Autumn Leaves. Her room was across the hall from mine. It was a joy to see her smiling face every morning. We often discussed things that were related to the Bible. She had a vast knowledge of almost any subject and was always a very interesting conversationalist I was privileged to meet several of her family members and looked forward to seeing them, when they visited Lajuanda.
