I still have his hour of Service set on my phone's alarm. It was Saturdays at 6:30. Was heartbroken when KHCB stopped broadcasting it. I occasionally look on UTube, hoping his sermons got loaded for streaming.

I will never forget the huge crowds at LC's funeral, he was the last surviving member of his family, He had a ministry that had continued through the decades, and all the people he met and inspired to have a better life all showed up 5 hours away from where he lived and worked! What an inspiration his life of service was! I am sure he heard the words "Well done my humble servant!". I long to see you again my friend!
LC was a great comfort to us when we lost our baby daughter at the age of 26 days. He then baptized me at the age of 44 and baptized or baby son who was truly a gift from God. My husband and I enjoyed his sermons very much. I have a picture of LC taken at my son's baptism and would be happy to provide you with a copy. I take comfort in the fact that he is now in heaven watching over my beautiful baby girl. He lived a good and Christian life. We miss him.
Sincerely,
Ann Ryan Robertson##imported-begin##Robertson, Ann & Gene##imported-end##
L.C. was a wise and trusted minister to our family as long as he was at St. Philips United Methodist Church. He knew how to counsel the grieving, give advice to you when you asked, and show compassion when needed. I always kept in touch with L.C. after he left St. Philips and will miss him.

I need to correct an error in my previous note. L.C. officiated at the wedding of one of our daughters, not two.
I apologize.

I will always remember L.C. as one of the finest men I have ever met. He was an inspiration and friend during my family's time of need 12 years ago when my husband passed away suddenly. He was loved by us because of his goodness. GOD can truly welcome His servant with open arms. L.C. will be missed but always remembered.##imported-begin##Julaine Helper##imported-end##
