L. A. Johnny Johnson's Obituary
Funeral services for L. A. ?Johnny? Johnson, 81, of Longview, will be 12 Noon Tuesday, November 18, 2003 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd., with Reverend Bill Cunningham and Reverend David Lindwall officiating.
Interment will follow in Rosewood Park Cemetery. Mr. Johnson died
Saturday at his residence.
Mr. Johnson was born October 23, 1922 in Appleton, Washington to John and Ruby Johnson. Lloyd worked for the TEXACO company for over 37 years as an engineer, was a member of the First United Methodist Church and served his country during World War II as an officer and pilot in the United States Navy.
Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his wife, Mary and son, Rodney.
He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Blake and Cheryl Johnson of Coppell, Greg Johnson of Plano, Kim Johnson of Houston; and granddaughter, Samantha Johnson of Coppell.
The family asks that memorial donations be made to First United Methodist Church, Longview, TX.
