Kristina "Krissy" Lawrence's Obituary
Kristina “Krissy” Nicole Lawrence, 17, of Hallsville went to be with her Lord on October 15, 2013. She was born October 4, 1996 in Effingham, Illinois to Terry and Sherry Lawrence.
Krissy attended Hallsville High School where she was adored by both her classmates and staff, especially by her attendant Mrs. Dawnya Wineinger. She was a very talented artist and has many drawings for us to remember her by. Krissy loved all of God’s creatures both big and small wild and tame.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother Mary Oneita Mose Lawrence and Uncle James Albert Lawrence
Those left behind to cherish her memories are her parents Terry and Sherry Hendrix Lawrence of Hallsville, brothers Robert Lawrence and his wife Crystal of Manawa, Wisconsin and James “Bubby” Lawrence of Hallsville, sisters Trisha Wawczak and her husband Chad of Herrick, Illinois, Sara Banga and her husband James of Longview, Texas and Shelby Smith of Vandalia, Illinois, grandfather and step-grandmother James and Melba of Lawrence of Effingham, Illinois, grandparents Edward and Peggy Hendrix of Salem, Illinois, three uncles, one aunt and several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Friends are welcome to join the family for a time of visitation Monday, October 21, 2013 from 5 pm-8 pm at Rader Funeral Home in Longview. A Celebration of her life will be the next day, Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 2 pm at the Funeral Home.
She never met a stranger in her life. Krissy was a special angel that we got to take care of for seventeen wonderful years and she will be forever missed by all.
