Kinsey Blalock's Obituary
Services for Kinsey Blalock, 14, of Tatum, will be 2 PM Tuesday, September 9, 2003, at the Mobberly Baptist Church, 625 E. Loop 281, Longview, with Craig Evers officiating. Burial will follow at Rosewood Park under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Kinsey died Friday, September 5, 2003, as the result of an automobile accident near Tatum. She was born July 30, 1989 to Stephen and Debra Reeves Blalock. A lifelong area resident, she was a freshman student at Tatum High School and had attended Harleton and Spring Hill Schools. Kinsey loved athletics and was an avid cross country distance runner, active in track, softball and basketball. She was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and a member of the Key Club. She is survived by parents, Stephen and Debra Blalock of Tatum;sister, Nikki Blalock of Longview;paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Giles Blalock of Harleton; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Reeves of Longview; maternal great grandmother, Margaret Reeves of Shreveport and uncles, Mr. and Mrs. Tim Blalock and family of Sherman, TX, Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Reeves and family of White Oak.
The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd, Monday evening from 7 until 9 PM.Contributions to the Kinsey Blalock Memorial Scholarship Fund may be made to the Citizen's National Bank, 165 North Hill, Tatum, Texas 75691. A memorial guestbook may be signed at www.raderfh.com
