Kimberly Ann Landers' Obituary
Kimberly Ann Landers, 53, went to be with her Lord February 9, 2019 surrounded by her loving family after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born April 13, 1965 in Longview, Texas, the only child of Tommy L. Landers and Carolyn Knight Landers. She graduated from Hallsville High School, Hallsville, Texas in 1983 where she was a member of the band and drama department. She was a long-time member of Woodland Christian Church, Longview, Texas.
Kimberly worked as a medical assistant for Dr. John C. Griffin of Longview, Texas for twenty-five years and L-W Resources, Inc. for the past two years.
Kimberly enjoyed shopping at estate sales, camping, and spending time and traveling with her family. She loved nothing more than cooking for her family in her home shared with the love of her life, Clarence T. Young, who preceded her in death passing away February 13, 2018.
Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Carolyn Landers; father, Tom Landers, and his wife, Becky; her daughter, Kelsey, and her fiancé, Jerriad Brown; her grandchildren, Madalyn and William; step grandson, Skye; step sister, Traci Taylor and her husband Earl (Buddy) Taylor; nieces Sofie and Jules; ninety-nine year old Granny, Nadine Jackson; aunts and uncles; cousins; and a multitude of friends.
A funeral service for Kimberly will be held in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 12 at 2pm, interment will follow the funeral service at Grace Hill Cemetery in Longview TX. The family would like to invite friends for a time of visitation and fellowship on Monday from 6-8pm at Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
