Kim was talented, kind, artistic, gracious, and supportive. She dyed a special colorway for my book series, Days of the Guardian. It was called "All for the Bright." Kim embodied this mantra, not just in spirit--just look at her big eyes and beautiful smile! I'm so honored to have known her as a friend and a fellow creative. Big hugs to Ethan, who was always a joy to hang around with when I visited with Kim at trunk shows, etc... I greatly cherish every item I own that she created. She will never be forgotten.
Kim was such an amazing woman! So kind, caring and incredibly talented. As a fellow friend and yarn dyer, we would talk forever at fiber shows and trade each other's yarn, because we both loved each other stuff so much! She had a beautiful smile and I am going to miss her terribly. My heart goes out to her husband, son and family. Kim, keep knitting away!! It was a pleasure and a blessing to have known you.

I had the pleasure of meeting Kim about a year ago at a local yarn store in Spring, Texas, where I purchased some of her amazing yarn. I saw her again a few weeks ago when she did a show at the same yarn store,. She was always so sweet, friendly and helpful. Based on a beautiful shawl she displayed, I bought more yarn to make that shawl. I will think of her when I start this new project and it will always be my “Kimarie” shawl. My thoughts and prayers are with her family
Chalyn and I are deeply saddened to hear of your loss. Kim was always so sweet to us and to Ollie at fiber festivals, was wicked funny, and was a great talent. She was a lot of fun to be around, and I regret that we didn't have more time with her.

I'm heartbroken to here the news of Kim's passing, she was such a joy to be around and to haver as a friend. She always had a smile on her face and she loved to laugh. My heart goes out to Scott and Ethan, Mr. and Mrs. Rice and Jamie along with all her other family.
