Kimberly D. (Costlow) Gossage's Obituary
Kimberly D. (Costlow) Gossage, 51, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 10, 2016, after passing away from complications surrounding her valiant eight-year battle against cancer. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, December 15, 2016, at Alpine Church of Christ, 610 E Loop 281, with James Ray and Stan Coppinger officiating. Burial will follow in the New Salem Cemetery of Rusk County, under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Kim was born November 24, 1965, in Longview of Gregg County, Texas, to Daniel Lealon and Nelda Earle Tinsley Costlow. A lifelong area resident, she was a member of Alpine Church of Christ and a Hallsville high school graduate, from the class of ’84. She began her career, working in stock securities, at E.F. Hutton, currently Morgan Stanley, in 1985 and married her college sweetheart, shortly thereafter, in May of 1989. She was gentle-hearted, as she was gracefully beautiful- a loving wife, mother, and friend to all.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Thomas “Butch” Gossage; her two teenage daughters, Hannah and Lexi Gossage, students of Spring Hill high school; her brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Kathryn Costlow, of Katy, TX; her brother and sister-in-law, Kyle and Cindy Costlow; also of Katy, TX; along with her nieces and nephew, Morgan, Maddie, and Hunter Costlow. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. this evening, December 14, 2016, at Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd.
