Kenneth "Ken" Webb

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ken Webb, our beloved husband and father, who left us after a courageous battle with the beast of a brain cancer called glioblastoma. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 starting at 10:00 AM with a rosary preceding the Mass. A visitation will be held at Rader Funeral Home of Longview on October 22, 2024 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Mr. Webb passed away at his home in Longview on October 13, 2024 surrounded by his family. Ken’s family was his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Whether it was helping with homework, fixing things around the house, or simply watching football on a Sunday afternoon, Ken made every moment special. Ken graduated from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked at Texas Eastman for 38 years and always held his coworkers in high regard. He relished confronting a problem head on and was always willing to troubleshoot a solution, no matter how complex the problem was. Ken faced his illness with remarkable courage and grace, never losing his faith or his love for life. His strength and resilience were an inspiration to all who knew him. He is survived by his spoiled grand-dog, Cash, his wife, Stephanie, and his children, Matthew and Stephen. He is also survived by his stepmother, Hazel, his brothers, Ronnie (wife Becky), Mike (wife Nancy), and Steve (wife Tina) and his sisters Paula and Teresa. Ken is also survived by his loving in-laws, Kevin (wife Danetta), Chris (wife Cari), Bobby (wife Cindy), and Mary (husband David), who welcomed him into their family with open arms and shared many cherished moments with him. Ken had a special place in his heart for his nieces, nephews, great-nephew, and cousins. He valued every moment spent with them; he took great joy in being a part of their lives. His legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
