Kenneth Walter Stout
Funeral services for Kenneth Walter Stout, 94, of Longview will be held at 12 Noon Friday, December 13, 2013 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Steve Gillentine officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Park. He passed away Tuesday, December 10 in the home of his daughter, Judy K. Gillentine following a short illness.
Visitation will be held Friday, from 11:00 to 12:00 prior to the service.
The fourth child of Rose Nell Emerson and Walter Gaston Stout, he was born August 11, 1919 in Yates City, KS. He was in the first graduating class of Sunset High School in Dallas. He attended Oklahoma State University and left when he was drafted into the U. S. Army during WWII, where he served in the Medical Corp. He was a member of the Longview Masonic Lodge #404, and a 32nd Degree Mason. He was baptized in the Methodist Church.
Mr. Stout was preceded in death by his oldest daughter, Ann Stout and the mother of his children, Joyce Stout; and 2 sisters and 1 brother.
He leaves a legacy of love to his twin daughters, Judy K. Gillentine and husband Steve and Jane Stout Trundle and husband Charles; his grandchildren, Clayton B. Gillentine and wife Allison, Kenneth Blake Gillentine and wife Brooke, Katie M. Yoder and husband Curtis and Anthony M. Stout; along with 8 great grandchildren.
