To know Kenneth was to love him. Kenneth and I were in the same grade all through Haynesville, La. schools. He was always a gentleman, very kind and peaceful. I was so proud when I learned he was a Pastor. I knew he would do something special in life and what could be more special than teaching and leading people to Jesus Christ.
He is now adoring and worshiping Jesus Christ and awaiting you, his family, his church family and friends to join him.
Our Family was blessed with his officiating at my Sister and Mothers' funerals. We will always be grateful that he took the time for us.

Kenneth, Carole Anne, Ken and Kevin were family to me. I am thankful I was able to spend time with Kenneth and Carole before God took him home to heaven. He was an amazing minister who loved his family, and others, in the true Spirit of Christ. I know he is at peace and thankful all of the intense physical pain is no longer a part of his life on the other side with God. You are greatly missed by many, Kenneth.

Bro Kenneth was one of the first mentors outside of my church family when I was in my first year of student ministry 30 years ago. He and Mrs. Mills have had a profound impact on my life and my families life. I am grateful for me who have set such a high bar in the ministry, loving his Lord, loving His bride, loving his kids and loving the people of God. Praying for all of the family and especially Mrs. Mills!

I had a dream the other night. I dreamed that I could fly. I flapped my wings like a buzzard, and flew up in the sky. At the gate I met St. Peter. To me he looked so neat. He invited me to dinner, and this is what we eat. Turnip greens, turnip greens, good ol' turnip greens....cornbread & buttermilk & good ol' turnip greens! That is one of my favorite memories that I will cherish of you! Thank you for everything & much more! I love you now & always, and I will miss you very much! You've joined my band of guardian angels! Bro. Kenneth was my pastor twice, first at Spring Hill, then as interim pastor at New Hope Baptist Church. Stan and I thought the world of Ken and Carole - just "good folks" like God intended for us all to be. Ken's Christmas this year will be very different than ours. Hallelujah!
